TAG: Get to Know Me

Hey everyone! I was looking at my blog and realized how little you guys know about me, so I decided to do the About Me TAG! And by the way, I tag ALL OF YOU! **Please Note: I took these questions from ImperfectionsBeauty's TAG video, but edited them into questions I thought were most relevant.

What is your Favorite subject in school?

- I really enjoy 20th century history. I have no idea why, but I guess all of the wars interest me.
Favorite Book?
- Angels and Demons by Dan Brown! I love this series and Dan Brown is a captivating author!
Favorite Color?

- Lavender :) and Tiffany Blue (hmmm... maybe the colors of my blog?? :P)
Favorite Animal?
- Whales! I don't know why, they just seem chill.
Favorite Perfume?
- Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.. I've mentioned once or twice or maybe a few thousand times, lol..
Favorite Holiday?

- Christmas with the family!
Have you graduated high school?

- Yes, I'm in college.
Have you ever been out of the country? If so, how many times?
- Yes, too many times to count!
Do you speak any other language?
- No, I know quite a bit of French, but I'm not exactly fluent yet.
How many siblings do you have?


- I have a sister, Hadley, and a brother, Chase.
What is your favorite store?
- Anthropologie!
Favorite restaurant?
- BOA Steakhouse
Favorite movie?
- Inception. Some people hate it, but if you watch it all the way through, it's actually amazing.
Favorite TV show?
- Whale Wars! It's on Fridays on Animal Planet at 9. The new season just started 2 days ago and it was fabulous!!
What kind of phone do you have?
- iPhone 4
When's your birthday?

- July 21
What is your nationality?
- I'm a dual citizen. I have a Canadian and American citizenship, but I'm also German.
What was your dream job when you were younger?
- I wanted to first be an artist until I realized I was terrible at that. Then, I wanted to be an astronaut. Finally, I decided I wanted to be a CIA agent... random jobs, haha!
Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?

- Yes, I have a boyfriend named Hunter, but we are currently in a bit of a fight...
What sort of music do you listen too?

- I listen to anything but screamo (it's scary), country (it makes me want to puke), intense rap (I don't know what they're saying), or Justin Bieber (me, being a Candian, can honestly say how annoying this kid is!)
Do you have a job?
- Yes, I model a lot and I also help my friend, who is a makeup artist, when she has events and things. I have a normal 9-6 job though, that involves a bunch of law (I hope to be a lawyer soon!!)
What's the first thing you look for in a person?

- A sense of humor! I'm extremely sarcastic and I hate when people take that stuff to heart. Lighten Up :)
Who's the first person you turn to when you're upset?

- Yesterday, I would have said my boyfriend Hunter, but today I would say one of my best friends named Landon. He's always there for me and he just gets me.
What's your favorite food?

- Any type of seafood!
Favorite place to go?
- I love to go skiing in Whistler in Vancouver, Canada. I've been going to British Columbia since I was 2!

March Favorite Beauty Gurus

So, kind of a twist on March Favorites. I was asked by one girl who reads my blog, Kelly (she asked me not to use her last name), to do my March Favorites: Beauty Gurus edition! I'm so excited to do this and hope that everyone else does this too! Just remember if you do this tag on your blog, to link back to my blog :)

1) Allthatglitters21 / Ellesglittergossip

--She is my favorite guru of all time- so sweet, and has so much knowledge on makeup! She also lives in Los Angeles, like me! Above is her Glitter Gossip: On the Go! video.

2) TmaraCo / Centered28

--I love these two because they're both Aussies...oh, and best friends! They have a cool take on the beauty guru scene, as they are still in school (like me), but know a ton about beauty! Above is their video on their new contest, be sure to participate in that!

3) Macbarbie07 / BethanysLife

--She's one of the more popular gurus, but she is still amazing! Her videos are inspirational, and she's gorgeous! Above is her must have spring jewelry pieces- love her style!

4) Leighannsays

--She is not a very well-known beauty guru, but she is so funny! She constantly does blooper/outtakes videos and they make my day so much better! She's from Texas and brings the attitude (a good one!) as well as the big hair with her! Above is one of her funniest outtakes videos, watch until the end!!

5) Shellx85x

--She's brand new onto the YouTube scene, but she is so sweet and her reviews are fabulous! Above is her MAC haul! It's a huge haul, btw!!
